De Anza, L.A. Harbor and Cuyamaca standouts honored by 5CTCA as Runners of the Week

NORCAL RUNNERS OF THE WEEK
Women:
Siena Pignataro of De Anza College sophomore placed 2nd overall at the Golden West Invitational, running 19:16 on the 5K course. She is currently ranked 13th in California among 3C2A cross country performances. Pignataro has made huge since last season already winning the Tour de Cuesta and placing as the sixth fastest 3C2A female at the Clovis Crush Invitational.
Men:
Giovanni Lancellotti of De Anza College finished 33rd overall at the Golden West Invitational with a time of 22:14 on the 4-mile course. He is currently ranked within the top 90 in California for 3C2A cross country performances.
SOCAL RUNNERS OF THE WEEK
Men: Ivan Guzman of Cuyamaca suprised a solid field with first place finish at the Golden West Invitational 20:43 to win by 12 seconds. Guzman has already won another race this fall, the Cuyamaca Invitational and was 24th at last fall's 3C2A State Championship. His finish helped Cuyamaca surprise Socal #2 Cerritos and a strong Riverside City College squad.
