Large list of 2021-22 California Community College women's volleyball players head to next level

A list compiled of 89 women's indoor and beach volleyball players who played at California Community Colleges in 2021-22 have earned scholarships to play at 4-year universities in an announcement today by the California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association (CCCWVCA).

Thirty-nine colleges were represented on the list including Feather River College, the 2019 state champion and a 2021 state semifinalist, having the most scholarship transfers with eight student-athletes.

Last year's state runner-up West Valley placed seven players while both Pasadena City and Orange Coast sent six each to the next level. Fresno City, the '21 state champions, had five who will continue their playing careers at universities. 

Seven AVCA All-Americans transferred to universities highlighted by NCAA Division I signings in Fresno's Diamond'Nique Young (West Virginia State) and Feather River's Courtney Oilar (Utah).
