Merritt College took part in their forst preseason game under new Head Coach Greggmar Swift today. The game ended in a disappointing lost for the lady Tbirds (13-0) but coach Swift stayed he was still has some level of optimism going forward as a team. Words from the coach were " the scoreline doesn't speak the truth of the game. The ladies were worriors out there today. We came in to the game knowing it would have been an uphill battle with 30% of the team being injuried at the time. As a team we manged to put that behind us and pushed on. I will forever be grateful to the ladies for that".
