Fresno City Top Ranked in First 3C2A Men's Wrestling State Rankings

Fresno City College has been voted as the No. 1 ranked team in the state in the first edition of 2025 3C2A men's wrestling state rankings. The Rams have been dominant thus far, winning both the Sacramento City Dave Pacheco Invite and the Lemoore Invitational to start the season. 

Freshmen Brock Kitchen (174lb) and Lewis Saldivar (185lb) have led the way for FCC as they represent the Rams as the No. 1 ranked wrestlers in their weight classes.

Mt. San Antonio College is ranked second after winning their own duals tournament and placing just behind the Rams in the Lemoore Invite by just 17.5 points. The Mounties have three top ranked wrestlers in 2024 state champions Jason Saenz (141lb) and Maxximus Martinez (157lb) as well as sophomore Michael Williams (149lb).

Following them is Cerritos College, who went 3-0 in the Bakersfield Duals before taking third at the Lemoore Tournament. 

The Cuesta Cougars made the leap into the top four after earning a fourth place finish in the SCC Tournament and seeing PJ Scharf (165lb) and Chance Evans (197lb) be ranked at the top of the classes. 

Rounding out the top five is a Santa Rosa team that swept the field at their duals tournament and placed third at the SCC Tournament.
