Sequoias, Mt. SAC, OCC, Moorpark, Laney keep up pace in State Women's Basketball Top 25
While the first CCCWBCA State Top 25 Poll of 2025 featured virtually no changes for the teams themselves from the previous winter holiday rankings, 17 squads moved around to complete the jigsaw puzzle.
Undefeated College of the Sequoias (16-0) swept all 19 coaches' first-place votes again to score 475 points, followed by #2 Mt. San Antonio (451), #3 Orange Coast (433), #4 Moorpark (395), and #5 Laney (392) as the top 5 remained unchanged.
Glendale moved up to #6 (338), Sierra fell to #7 (337), Folsom Lake stays at #8 (330), Victor Valley enters the top 10 at #9 (286) and Cypress rounds out the group at #10 (275).
Santa Ana had the biggest rise moving up four slots to #16.
One team joined the rankings as Chabot earned enough votes to tie Citrus for the #25 position.
