MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's College Women's Basketball is happy to announce the signing of Jasmine Farmer for the upcoming season 2022-23 season.
Farmer is transferring from Laney College and played her high school ball at Saint Mary's High in nearby Albany. The former Eagle and Panther has been a very well-rounded, balanced player throughout her career.

"We are very pleased to add Jasmine Farmer to our Gael Family," Head Coach Paul Thomas said. "She is a local athlete from Saint Mary's High School in Albany and she adds depth and toughness to our roster, along with the ability to play multiple perimeter spots. Her year at Laney College has prepared her well for SMC."
Farmer played in 24 games for Laney this past season and averaged 14.4 points per game and 10 rebounds per contest. Farmer was even better in conference play, averaging almost 16 points ppg. She shot 77.8% on her free throws and 33.3% from three-point range.
In her final season at Saint Mary's High she averaged 10.1 ppg and 6.5 rpg while shooting 52% on two-point attempts. She also shows good defensive prowess after averaging 2.5 steals per game as a sophomore in high school.
She scored a career-high 23 points against Napa College on February 25 this past season. Her most efficient games were against Solano College as she shot 6 of 9 from the field for 19 points and 7 of 11 from the field with 17 points in her two meetings with Solano.
