SAN JOSE, Calif – El Camino cruised to a dominant 7-0 win over Cypress to move on to tonight's elimination game behind a Lexi Ramirez two-hitter.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The south's Pitcher of the Year picked up six strikeouts to only two walks in seven shut-out frames.
The Warriors six-run third inning was more than enough for Ramirez. Cheyenne Navarro, Emma Garcia and Savanna Kastigar picked up back-to-back-to-back RBI singles to get the rally going.
The bottom of the order in Emily Gamboa and Anahi Pintado kept it rolling – an RBI walk and fielder's choice closed out the inning.
Ramirez allowed just four base runners and faced 25 batters. It was the third win for the Warriors over the Chargers in 2025. They won all three games by a combined score of 22-3.
