Brackets announced for NorCal and SoCal Men's and Women's Water Polo Regionals

SACRAMENTO - Two-time defending CCCAA Champion Golden West will carry the top seed into this weekend's SoCal men's water polo regional at Cerritos College while state runner-up West Valley College is the No. 1 seed at the NorCal regional, which it will host. On the women's side, Sierra College, coming off a second-place finish at last year's state championship, will be the No. 1 seed at the NorCal regional while Fullerton College is the top seed at the SoCal tournament.

Cerritos will host both the SoCal men's and women's tournaments with competition beginning on Thursday. West Valley, which will also host the state championship on Nov. 16-17, will welcome teams to its pool for the regional event that starts on Friday. Championships are set for Saturday with the top two teams in each regional advancing to the state tournament.
