Riverside City's Chang, Sreeram grab top ITA/3C2A men's tennis honors
RIVERSIDE - Riverside City College's Michael Chang and Ronith Sreeram grabbed the top ITA/3C2A honors after leading the Tigers to the SoCal Regional Championship, announced at the pre-championship banquet Wednesday night.
Chang was named the 2025 ITA/3C2A Sophomore of the Year after demolishing his competition throughout the regular season. The sophomore, who ranks second in the 3C2A SoCal Singles Rankings, didn't concede a single loss in Orange Empire Conference action and was named the OEC Singles Player of the Year and a member of the OEC Doubles Team of the Year. Chang secured his spot in the 3C2A State Championship both as a singles player (15-3) and doubles partner (12-7 with Lance Lao).
Sreeram was named the 2025 ITA/3C2A Rookie of the Year after securing his spot in the 3C2A State Championship as both a singles player (15-3) and doubles partner (14-5 with Augustin Daubannay). He grabbed All-OEC honors and currently ranks sixth in the 3C2A SoCal Singles Rankings.
