Cerritos still No. 1 in CCCSIA Men's Soccer Poll while Mt. San Antonio steps to No. 2
SAN BERNARDINO - The top five men’s soccer teams in the state stayed the same – albeit with a small shakeup in positioning – in this week’s California Community College Sports Information Association poll.
Cerritos, the only team without a loss in the state, remained a unanimous number one, receiving all nine first place votes in this week’s poll.
Mt. San Antonio rose out of a tie for third to take the second spot with 163 points in the voting by sports information professionals. Fresno City remained tied for third, now with former No. 2 El Camino, and Oxnard held firm at No. 5.
From there, the poll had several shakeups. Cosumnes River moved up three spots to No. 6, while Merced also jumped three spots into a tie for seventh with former No. 7 Cabrillo. Skyline tumbled three spots to No. 9 and Los Angeles City dropped two spots to No. 10.
