2019 CCCAA Men's Soccer Championship Preview

In a rematch of the 2016 CCCAA State Men's Soccer Championship that saw a scoreless match which resulted in Penalty Kicks which Mt. Sac won the game (In PK's, the only time a result ends in a win is the State Championship). Fresno went on in 2017 to bet Mt. Sac 2-1 in the Semi-Finals on their way to winning the State Title over Taft College 2-1.

 

Mt. Sac is led by Gerardo Cazares who leads the Mounties with 14 assists and 46 points and Angel Santoyo who leads Mt. Sac with 17 goals. Fresno City College led by Mason Gonzalez who leads the Rams with 10 goals and 21 points and Michael Gonzalez who leads Fresno City with 7 assists.

Mt. San Antonio:

Round 1: 6-2 win over Norco
Round 2: 2-1 2OT win over Santa Ana
Round 3: 1-0 win over El Camino
Semi-Finals: 3-1 win over Foothill @ DeAnza College 


Fresno City College:

Round 1: 1-0 win over Cabrillo
Round 2: 1-0 win over Hartnell
Round 3: 1-0 win over San Joaquin Delta
Semi-Finals: 1-0 win over Cerritos @ DeAnza College
