Compton, Calif. - Sophomore Noah Ford went 2 for 2 Thursday afternoon as the Tartars (0-3) fell to the Arabs (1-1) by a score of 12-7. Ford also collected a RBI and two walks.

Freshman Julyan Rico was the starting pitcher for the Tartars and completed four innings on the mound and allowed only two runs. Sophomore Michael Fletcher and freshman Narendranath Hunter came in in relief and tallied two strike outs each.

Sophomores Doug Allen and Anthony Reyes collected two RBI's each.

The Compton Tartars will next face the Oxnard Condors at home on Tuesday, February 4 at 4 p.m.
