No. 14 Fullerton College tagged Irvine Valley College with a 7-2 win at home Thursday. 

It was game two of the three-game Orange Empire Conference series, and the Hornets needed no luck on St. Patrick's Day racking up 14 hits. 

On Tuesday, FC and the Lasers went at it on Cal State Fullerton's Goodwin Field with the Hornets getting edged 2-1. Today's win puts Fullerton at 15-9 overall and 3-2 in the OEC, while IVC bumps down to 13-9 overall and 2-3 in conference-play. 

Earning his 6th win of the season, Adam Armstrong tossed a 6-hit game going 5.2 innings with no runs, no walks, and 1 K. Angelo Aguilera (4th save) came in to finish it off throwing 3.1 innings with 2 hits, 2 strikeouts, no walks and no runs. 

The Hornets put up the first run in the opening inning when Isaiah Marquez came across on a wild pitch from third base. 

Fullerton pushed the lead to 3-0 by adding two runs in the bottom of the fifth. Isaiah Marquez got back in on the action hitting a hard single deep the shortstop beating out the throw while Kaipo Haole snuck home. Dominic Martinez slammed a triple to right center that brought in Haloe. 

The Lasers were able to bounce back with 2 runs off errors in the top of the sixth. Connor Tallakson grounded out to short stop giving Shane Kary the opportunity to score. Adrian Reveles singled up the middle plating Noah Madole. 

Fullerton had a big sixth inning scoring 4 runs taking a 7-2 lead. With the bases loaded, Marco Malerba came in on a balk. Kaipo Haole knocked a single to left field scoring Garet Crenshaw and Miguel OrtizDominic Martinez then punched a single to right field scoring Haole.
