Top-Seeded Warriors Down Grossmont in Opening Round

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College, the No. 1 seed in the California Community College Athletics Association Southern California Regionals, opened the playoffs with a 5-1 victory over No. 8 Grossmont on Tuesday afternoon at the ECC Tennis Courts.

The Warriors swept the doubles matches to begin the day and then, despite having to default the No. 2 match, scored the final two points to secure an easy victory and stay undefeated on the season.  

The Warriors advance to the second round of the SoCal Regionals which will be played next Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the ECC Tennis Courts.
