Sisters Alina and Alyssa Fletes earned a 2-0 (21-12 and 21-11) win over Palomar's Olivia Van Der Brink and Holland Hancock in No. 1 pairs.
Kally Norvell and Ashley Davies teamed up at 2s to defeat Masha Molnar and Arielle Vannoy, also in two sets (21-10 and 21-13).
In 3s, Jillian Geenen and Jadian Dilg fell to Palomar's Alana Lacangan and Kenna Broach, 17-21 and 17-21.
City's 4s pair of Charisma Saymo and Faith Patterson got past Brynn Wallander and Rachael Cooke 21-18 and 22-20, but Ryla Manalang and Veronica Allen suffered a loss in 5s to Palomar's Lindsay Spohn and Jessica Hege.
The Knights will play Palomar once again next week at Huntington Beach's Newland Courts. City will also match up against Fullerton.
