Citrus College bounced back into the win column Friday night, grabbing a 2-0 victory at Grossmont College.
The Owls improve to 2-1-0 on the season while the Griffins drop to 1-1-0 with the loss.
Abigail Salvador and Emily Velasquez Vasquez each scored for the Owls as Citrus outshot Grossmont 10-to-5 over the 90 minutes of action.
Both Owl goals came in the second half of play as Salvador found the back of the net in the 54th minute -- which proved to be the game-winner. Fifteen minutes later, Vasquez tacked in the insurance goal.
Deziree Valdez picked up her second win of the season with five saves for the clean sheet.
The Owls finally make their home debut on Tuesday, hosting Mt. San Antonio for a 5:00 p.m. kick off.
