Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano baseball team wrapped the three-game conference-opening series against Yuba with a 9-5 win on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Zion Judkins went yard in the series finale, chalking up a pair of RBI on his lone hit of the game. Freshman Austin Menesini remained hot, counting a triple, adding a RBI and a pair of runs. Freshman Jaxson Bates was the lone Falcon to earn a multi-hit game with a 2-for-5 outing with two runs and a RBI.
Freshman Ryan Radkey (1-0) tallied the win on the mound, tossing three complete in relief, scattering three hits while fanning four.
Solano (4-15, 1-2) continues conference play, heading to Marin next on Tuesday, Mar. 22 for a 2:30 p.m. first pitch.
