Lake Tahoe, Calif.  The Lady Hawks traveled to Lake Tahoe Wednesday to take on top ranked Lake Tahoe Community College. The Hakws came up short as they came back home with a 0-2 loss.

The Hawks battled all game long playing some excellent defense lead by freshman Center Backs Elissa Ascencio and Ashley Blake. The Hawks went into halftime tied up 0-0 with the valiant effort. The 2nd half began and the Hawks started on the offensive, creating a few dangerous chances and the most promising ended with a left footed volley by sophomore forward Obioma Onejeme that missed inches wide left. In the 54th minute of the game the 0-0 tie was broken by the Coyotes. The Hawks did not give up as they created more chance but lady luck was not on the Hawks' side and the oposing keeper made some good saves. The game ended 0-2, but the Hawks walked out with there heads held up high as they battled to the end.
