The Beavers rebounded from their loss to Ventura College with a very strong performance against Arizona Christian University. ACU, traditionally a nationally ranked NAIA team, came out fast in the doubles, sweeping all three matches and earning the doubles point. Just as in their match against Ventura, the Beavers hit right back in the singles, and this time they were able to finish five of the six singles matches for the 5-2 dual-team victory. ARC was led by #1 Ravi Nelson and #2 Zac Prince who each had convincing straight set wins. At #4, Micah Erwin fought off set points in the first to win the set 7-5, before steamrolling to a 6-0 win in the second set. Justin Le (#5) and Parker Perdue (#6) also played well, each winning their respective matches against tough opponents. ARC will next play the Big 8 North conference tournament, which is an individual event designed to name a conference champion and determine qualifiers for the NorCal individual championships at the end of April.
