The Coyote Baseball team won in dramatic fashion in Tuesday's game against San Bernardino Valley College. Lead by a strong start by starting pitcher, Jaxon Holzem who shut SBVC down during the early part of the game, the Coyotes enjoyed a 3-0 cushion. But that would soon change, as the Wolverine offense exploded for an 8 run inning. Trailing by 5 runs, and playoff implications on the line, Coso was a long way from being out of the game. Casey Bochenzak ignited a rally that lead to a Johnny McHenry 3 run homer followed by a double by Danny Jiminez to later score would pull the Coyotes within 1 run. A shutdown top of the 8th, pitched by Moises Soriano, would allow the Coyote bats to once again come alive the bottom half of the inning, and that would be all the team needed as the closed the game out in the ninth by a score of Coso 13-SBVC 8.

The two teams will finish the season out with a Thursday and Friday series match up at SBVC. The two teams will be battling it out for a second place finish in the IEAC.
