SBCC won the last three singles matches to knock off Glendale 6-3 on Tuesday in a WSC West match in Glendale.
Kyosuke Kiuchi, Arthur Scharff, Pierre Fumat and Taylor Kleine all won in singles and doubles.
The Vaqueros (2-2, 1-1) took a 2-1 lead in the doubles but Glendale (3-2, 1-2) tied it up by winning two of the first three singles.
That left it to Nos. 4, 5 and 6 to pull out the win. Scharff took a three-setter at No. 4, 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 and Fumat swept the No. 5 match, 6-3, 6-0 for the fifth and decisive point. Kleine outlasted Jackson Boxall to win the No. 6 singles, 6-2, 2-6, 6-2.
"We implemented all of the things we worked on with our full week of practice last week," said SBCC coach Nathan Jackmon. "Our confidence is higher and we continue to work toward taking our tennis to the next level from match to match."
The Vaqueros will travel to Bakersfield next Tuesday for a WSC match at 1 p.m.
