Women's Basketball Wraps Up 2020 With A Road Win. Three Tigers Selected to All-Conference Team.

Three Central Valley Conference women's basketball teams qualified for the Northern California Regionals. There wasn't room for a fourth.

Reedley College finished in fourth place in the CVC with a 7-5 record after a 63-48 road win over Porterville Friday and a 69-40 loss to Fresno City College on Feb. 25.

It was an interesting season," said head coach Dan Kilbert. "It was the first time since I've been here that we defeated College of the Sequoias and Fresno city in the same year. The kids played very hard."

Aurelie Bevao, who the Coach said is being recruited by several D-1 schools, was selected first-team All-Central Valley Conference. Sam Mendoza and Amanpreet Kaur were both second-team selections.

Against Porterville, Bevao led all scorers with 28 points, hitting six 3-pointers in 15 attempts. Annie Lopez followed with 14 points while Kaur had 11 points and 18 rebounds.

In the loss to Fresno City, Kaur led the way with 16 points and 11 rebounds while Mendoza added 10 points.
