Baker Scores Seven Goals in Mt. SAC Women's Water Polo Victory Over Cross Town Rival Pasadena City

(Walnut, CA) Mt. SAC's Brianna Baker scored seven goals as the host Mounties (6-4, 2-0) rolled to a 12-4 victory, over visiting conference rival Pasadena City College (2-5, 1-2) on Wednesday.

Julia Bensing-Ruiz added three goals for Mt. SAC, while teammates Emily Bermudez and Samantha Martinez accounted for the other Mountie goals. Madeline Gaitan led the team in assists with three and Bermudez-Ruiz assisted on two scores.

Goalkeepers Victoria Streitenberger (four saves) and Gaitan (five saves) split time in goal for Mt. SAC, holding the Lancers to four scores.

The Mounties continue South Coast Conference play and will travel to Rio Hondo (3-9, 1-2) on Wednesday, Oct. 9th, at 3 p.m.
