WOMEN'S TENNIS: IMPERIAL SWEEP
The Lady Hornets had a successful day at home Friday sweeping Imperial Valley College 9-0.
In doubles, the FC teams of Alexus Lombera / Ashley Castro (8-4), Savanna Schreiner-Vanhoutte / Janet Shiau (8-1), Ashley Yanez / Jeanelle Canal (8-0) pull off wins.
Singles winners were Alexus Lombera (6-1, 6-4), Ashley Castro (6-1, 6-0), Janet Shiau (3-6, 6-1, 10-8), Savanna Schreiner-Vanhoutte (6-1, 6-0), Jeanelle Canal (6-0, 6-1), and Jessica Valdespino (6-3, 6-0). It was Shiau's match that was the victory of the day as she fought her way back to clinch the team win.
Up Next: Fullerton (4-3 overall) will battle Hope International at home Tuesday, February 18th at 2:00 pm.
