The Condors are finding their stride halfway through the 2023 baseball season.

With two wins over the Rio Hondo Roadrunners, OC looks to show there are no easy outs in the lineup.

Game one in the Condors Nest saw highlight performances by Thade Miller (3-4, 3 runs, 3b), Aiden Ruiz (2-4, 1 run), Luis Luhrs (2-4, 2 runs, 4 RBI), Johnny Alvarez (3-5, 2 RBI), Marcus Chavez (2-3, 1 run, 1 RBI), Anthony Alvarez (2-4, 1 run, 1 RBI), Aaron Alvarado (2-4, 2 runs, 1 RBI).  The balanced OC attack pounded out 17 hits and 11 runs in the triumph.

Derek Medoza got the win, going eight innings, while only giving up two earned runs.  The bullpen (Andrew Leff, Nathan Hernandez, and Cisco Montes) only allowed one more run, over the last four innings of work.

Oxnard defeated the Roadrunners 5-4 on Thursday afternoon in Whittier, CA.

Luis Luhrs picked up the win in relief, with Domingo Gaxiola going four innings of shutout baseball as the starter.  Anthony Alvarez got the save in the 9th inning.

Thade Miller scored after a leadoff walk in the first.  Miller also tied the game in the seventh inning with an RBI triple, and scored the winning run on a fielders choice.

OC's Anthony Alvarez picked up the save in the second game of the mini-series.

Oxnard will continue WSC play next Tuesday when they travel up to take on Cuesta College at 2:30.
