Andrew Garcia converts the equalizing PK in WVC's 2-2 tie with Menlo College

Andrew Garcia converted a 70th-minute penalty kick to lift the West Valley men's soccer team to a 2-2 tie with Menlo College Saturday at Dick Schwendinger Field.
The goal was the second of the game for Garcia, who tied it up at 1-1 with just seconds left in the opening half off an assist from Lukas Siig.
The Oaks opened the scoring in the physical game at 41' on an unassisted goal by Carl Helmertz. The Vikings had shots hit the crossbar twice in the first half, at the 5-minute mark and in the 12th minute. Menlo took a 2-1 lead in the 64th minute when Caden Mink converted a PK.
