The Beavers had a rough outing as they lost both of their games against Cosumnes River to open up conference play by scores of 0-5 and 0-6. In game 1, ARC was only able to get 3 hits in 25 at bats and werent able to convert any into points. Taylor McKay had a rough day giving up 5 runs on 7 hits in 7 innings pitched.
Game 2 was the same story as the ARC offense never got going and had 2 hits on 24 at bats. Jenna Kendrick gave up 6 runs on 10 hits in 4 innings. Ashley Cortez came in and pitched 3 innings with only 1 hit, but it wasnt enough as the Beavers fell in both games to open up their conference play.
