The MSJC softball team dropped a game Monday to Golden West, but bounced back on Tuesday to down LA Valley in a pair of home games played on the Menifee Campus.

The Eagles fell behind Monday 8-1, but rallied back to make a game of it in the bottom of the 4th when they scored six runs to close the gap, but Golden West would find one more big inning of their own in the 6th to pull away and win the game 16-7.  Payton Raney had 2 hits and 2 RBIs for the MSJC offense including a double.  Veronica Prado also had 2 hits and drove in a run for the Eagles.

Tuesday the offense sprung to life as they collected 19 hits and defeated LA Valley 15-4 in five innings.  Maya Felipe had a game best 4 RBIs as she went 3 for 3 at the plate.  Raney and Hailey Matthews both also had 3 hits in the MSJC victory.  Amy Naranjo added three runs driven in and Alexis Aldridge and Chelsi Washburn drove in two runs a piece.

The Eagles are now 3-4 on the season and will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Santa Ana in a doubleheader.
