The West Valley women's soccer team returned from the Ventura College Invitational with a 0-1-1 mark after a 1-1 deadlock with Clovis Saturday afternoon. The Vikings (0-2-1) scored on a Crush own goal. WVC dropped a 2-1 game to Orange Coast Friday, as Caitlyn Trampenau scored the first Viking goal of 2019 off a Sara Prough helper. West Valley hosts Ohlone (0-2) in the 2019 home opener Thursday (9/5) at 3pm and then welcomes perennial power Cerritos to Saratoga Sunday (9/8) at 11am.
