Stockton, Calif. - The Butte women's soccer team dropped a 9-1 contest at Delta on Friday afternoon.
Freshman Sadie Weber tallied the team's lone goal off an assist from sophomore Jillian Weber in the 60th minute.
In the goal, sophomores Kathleen Howard and Madison Acosta shared keeper duties. Howard played nine minutes and earned a save, while Acosta wrapped up the match with 21 saves.
Butte (1-3-1) remains on the road, heading to Cosumnes River next on Tuesday, Sept. 20 for a 4 p.m. match.
