The Moorpark College women's volleyball team is riding a four-game Western State Conference winning streak ahead of its showdown with rival Ventura Friday (Oct. 22).
The Raiders have taken down LA Pierce (3-0), LA Mission (3-0), Santa Barbara (3-1) and Cuesta (3-0), respectively.
In that stretch, Moorpark has dropped just one set.
The win streak has the Raiders sitting tied for 1st place in the WSC, tied with Ventura, which is also 4-1 in conference play.
To nobody's surprise, the go-to threat for Moorpark is outside hitter Janesa Valoaga, who had 15 and 19 kills against Santa Barbara and Cuesta, respectively. Setter Madison Fuller tallied 65 assists in those two matches this week.
