The Long Beach City College men's basketball team defeated the El Camino College Warriors 88-76 on Friday evening in the Hall of Champions. With the win, the Vikings advance to 18-10 overall and 5-5 in conference play.

The Vikings started the evening by leading the Warriors 47-44 at halftime, then they took over the second half 41-32 to take the 88-76 victory.

Sophomore Aaron Jelks led the Vikings the double-double 27 points and 10 assists. Freshman guard Khieem Williams was next up with 19 points and had five rebounds. Sophomore guard Matthew Schmitt was a force at the net with 10 rebounds and 13 points.

Freshma guard Elijah McGee got into the game with six points, five rebounds and had one steal against the Warriors. Fresman guard Miles Denmion was an asset to the Vikings as he hit 12 points and had two assists and two steals.
