The West Valley women's water polo team took advantage of 18 steals and seven blocked shots to record a 17-1 win over Cabrillo Wednesday in Aptos. The Vikings (13-4, 5-0 Coast) got seven steals from Sierra Ceballos, who also finished with five goals and three assists. Giovanna Valente Cardenuto had three thefts to go along with five goals and three assists. Raquel de Pinho was impenetrable in goal with five saves and five blocks. Heather Gray, Alexis Goldin and Isabella Ruzsa each found the back of the net twice against the Seahawks (8-4, 2-1). The Vikings travel to City College of San Francisco (0-6, 0-3) Friday (10/11) for a 3:00pm game with the Rams.
