Compton, Calif. – Sophomore Kimberly Lara and freshman Giselle Aranda came close to winning matches in the season opener against El Camino, but the Badminton Team fell 21-0. Lara went up against Chloe Ferrer and finished the first match 21-23. Aranda went up against Ferrer as well and completed a match 20-22.
In doubles, Lara and freshman Yuriana Gallardo teamed up and went 22-24 and 20-22 against El Camino.
The next home match will be on March 6 with a 2 p.m. start time against East Los Angeles.
