(Huntington Beach, CA) Host Golden West College (3-2) saw a 1-0 halftime lead disappear as Mt. San Antonio College (6-1) scored three second-half goals to capture a 3-1 non-conference victory on Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Veronica Aquino scored the Mounties' first goal in the 47th minute on an assist from Ayuka Toshimoto. Kaylee Gutierrez added another score in the 83rd minute on an assist from Fatima Arnold, who also assisted on the game's final goal, an 88th-minute score by Karissa Vela.

In 90 minutes, goalie Leila Peregrina had three saves for Mt. SAC.

The Mounties' next match will be at San Bernardino Valley College (2-4) on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m.
