The Hornets knocked the monkey off their back on Tuesday night ending a long four-game losing streak on the road against El Camino College 1-0.

It has been a rough start to the season for the talented FC women's soccer team dropping its first four games of the season (all road games). There is light at the end of the tunnel after Tuesday night's win over top-contender El Camino College.

The match was a hard-fought battle that remained scoreless until late in the second half when Hornet Ashley Bautista passed the ball to Auburn Burnett who tapped it past the Warrior's goalie in the 74th minute.

FC goalie Victoria Saldana held on to her first shutout of the season with 5 saves in 90 minutes.
