The Falcons had hopes of getting back in the win column on Wednesday night in Sacramento, but lost in three very close sets to the Panthers, 25-20, 28-26, 27-25. Outside hitter Katy Kasparian – last week's Athlete of the Week – again led the team with 17 kills, while Kendall Hughes and Maria Rivera each recorded 18 digs. The loss dropped the Falcons to 6-10 overall, 1-3 in Big 8 play.
