Kentfield, Calif. - The Solano baseball team picked up its second-straight conference win, opening the series with a win against Marin, 13-7, on Tuesday afternoon.

Freshman catcher Austin Menesini led the Falcon offense with a 3-for-4 performance with all three hits being doubles. On the day, he also scored a run, while tallying four RBI. Freshman left fielder Jimmy Larson was close behind, hitting 2-for-4, including a double, and scoring two runs with three RBI.

Freshman Josh Petrill (2-1) captured the win in relief on the mound, throwing three scoreless innings and only allowing one hit, while striking out three.

Solano (4-15, 2-2) returns home to continue the series against Marin on Thursday, Mar. 24 at 2:30 p.m.
