The Compton College Tartars lose at home to confernece opponent El Camino College Warriors to a score of 20-2.
The game started out with would look like it would be a very close competition. With the Tartars down 2-0 to the Warriors in the second inning. The Tartars sophomore designated hitter Michael Heard (2-4) connected to center field for an RBI double to cut the lead for the Warriers to 2-1. Unfortunately the Tartars would not get any closer in the game as they were not able to cool off the hot bat of the Warriors.
The Warriors would respond in the third inning with five runs. To break open the game and they would not look back. The Tartars will look to respond on Thursday as they will be facing the Warriors for their second match up of the series.
UP NEXT: The Tartars will be on the road on Thursday, April 7TH against El Camino College. First pitch is scheduled for 2:30pm.
