Men’s Volleyball Wraps Up Season with Win over Santa Monica

TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College scored a 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-16) victory over Santa Monica Friday night at the ECC South Gym.

The Warriors finish the regular season with a 16-2 overall record and 11-1 mark in conference play. The team went undefeated in eight home matches.

Cinjun Coe led the Warriors with 11 kills and added eight digs on Friday night. Gabriel Vargas-Featherstone added eight kills and Emerson Clinton dished out 31 assists while setting the team to a .261 attacking percentage.

Dane Johnson led the defense with 10 digs and Cameron Steen led the team with three blocks (two solo).

The Warriors will now await to see who they will face in the first round of the CCCAA Southern California Regional Playoffs. The match will be held at El Camino College on Friday night at a time to be determined.
