The L.A. Mission College tennis team had a successful run at the 2023 CCCAA Singles State Championship tournament. In the Round of 128, Lia Sarjveladze and Anna Kynclova received BYEs and advanced to the Round of 64.

In the Round of 64, Lia Sarjveladze faced Adrielle Fotchi and emerged victorious with a score of 6-2, 6-1. Meanwhile, Anna Kynclova defeated Olivia Sipiora with a score of 6-0, 6-0.

Moving on to the Round of 32, Lia Sarjveladze played against Carla Montaruli and won the match with a score of 3-6, 7-5, 6-2. Anna Kynclova faced Madelyn Adams and won the match in straight sets with a score of 6-0, 6-0.

In the Round of 16, Anna Kynclova played against Chiara Palo and won the match with a score of 6-2, 6-1. Meanwhile, Lia Sarjveladze faced Katherine Busani and lost the match with a score of 1-6, 0-6.

Moving on to the Quarterfinals, Anna Kynclova faced Aerial Xu and won the match with a score of 6-2, 6-0.

In the Semifinals, the match started off evenly matched, with West winning the first set 7-5. However, in the second set, Kynclova suffered an injury and was unable to continue, resulting in her retiring from the match. The official result was recorded as a retirement due to injury, with Kynclova leading 0-3 in the second set. Unfortunately, Kynclova's injury prevented her from advancing to the finals, but she still had a strong showing throughout the tournament.
