Baseball Drops Glendale, 7-3

Bakersfield, CA – The Renegade Baseball team hosted Glendale College on Monday night at Gerry Collis Field and defeated the Vaqueros by a score of 7-3.

Glendale was on the board first with a run in the top of the second. The Renegades responded with six runs combined through the 4th and 5th innings and would not look back en route to their second conference win of the season.

Hunter Adams led team at the plate going 2 for 5 with a double and one run scored. Alejandro Murillo improves to 2-2 on the season after starting the game on the bump for the Renegades and working five innings. He tossed seven strikeouts, allowed 2 hits and gave up three walks. Roman Rubio and Brock Barron combined to pitch the final four innings.

They now improve to 6-14 on the season and 2-2 in conference. They will continue their series against Glendale on the road this Thursday at 2:30pm.
