Quincy, Calif. - The Solano softball team fell in a pair of contests at Feather River, 8-3 and 11-0 (five innings), on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Aketxalli Aranda led the Falcon offense in game one with a pair of RBI, while freshman Maleah Martinez recorded a double. In game two, freshman Gabriella Ibarra tallied both of the team's hits in a 2-for-2 contest.

Martinez threw the complete game in the circle to start the doubleheader, allowing 11 hits and striking out eight. Freshman Britney Lentino was charged with the loss in game two after throwing 0.2 innings, allowing eight hits and eight earned runs.

The Falcons (3-13) return home to wrap up the week, hosting Siskiyous on Saturday, Mar. 12 for a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m.
