On Thursday in Victorville the Eagles exploded for six runs in the top of the 4th and six more in the top of the 6th to cruise to an 18-8 victory.  Jones had three more hits in the game and knocked in four to lead the MSJC offense.  Sommay added a homerun and 3 RBIs in the game.  DJ Graham and Robert Jacobsen also added three hits a piece as the Eagle offense combined for 20 hits in the win.  Oscar Ortiz earned the win on the mound with three innings out of the bullpen.

In Saturday's series finale MSJC scored in 6 of their 8 offensive innings as they completed the sweep with a 19-7 win.  The Eagles offense once again took charge early as Jones hit a homerun over the leftfield fence to open the bottom of the first.  Nolan Smith had a big game for MSJC as he recorded four hits including a homerun and a triple while driving in a game high 4 runs.  Pickowitz had 3 RBIs for the Eagles and Jacobsen knocked in two more.  Chris Scovel pitched six innings on his way to the victory on the mound.

The three wins pushed the Eagles back over 500 on the year as they now stand at 18-17-1 overall and 9-11 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference games.  MSJC has one more week of the regular season to complete as they play a four game series with Barstow.  The Eagles travel to Barstow on Tuesday and Friday and host the Vikings in a doubleheader on Thursday.  The first game of the doubleheader on Thursday will begin at 10 am.
