Each year the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference hosts a Pairs Tournament that features all 35 pairs from the seven participating colleges.  After two days of competition, two MiraCosta pairs qualified for the Southern California Regional Tournament that will take place on Friday, May 5th at El Camino College.  

The first pair still competing is Makayla Hicks & Madison Rombotis. This duo competed in the 1's flight for most of conference and lost in the quarterfinals of the PCAC Pairs Championship.  Of the nine pairs from the PCAC Hicks/Rombotis finished sixth and will be the 22nd seed in the south, taking on Cristleman/Whiteman, a team from Mt. San Antonio College.

The second pair still competing is Summer Hoslett & Aubree Ueligitone.  This duo competed in the 2's flight for most of conference and also lost in the quarterfinals of the PCAC Pairs Championship.  Of the nine pairs from the PCAC Hoslett/Ueligitone finished eigth and will be the 27th seed in the south, taking on Nolan/Swanson from Irvine Valley College.

Teams can qualify for the CCCAA State Pairs Championship if they finish high enough in the regionals.
