SAN MARCOS, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors defeated Palomar College 3-0 on the road on Tuesday afternoon.
The Warriors (3-1) picked up their third win of the season on the road as they started the season with a 6 game road trip.
The Warriors scored three goals in the second half after going into the halftime break tied 0-0.
Gabriella De La Cruz got the scoring started in the 50th minute after scoring on a header on a corner kick by Alexis Perez-Fonseca.
Karlee Clark scored the second goal in the 80th minute after latching onto a cross by Julia Ausland.
Natalie Rodriguez scored the final goal near the end of the game after shooting from 25 yards out after a pass from Angelica Taylor.
McKenna Morey picked up the win in goal for the Warriors.
The Warriors look to continue their strong start to the season with a game at Moorpark next Tuesday. Kick-off is set for 4:00 p.m.
