Compton College Celebrates First-Ever Dig Pink Volleyball Game

Compton, Calif. - Compton College hosted their first-ever dig pink breast cancer awareness volleyball game against the Rio Hondo College Roadrunners on Wednesday evening. The Tartars women's volleyball team lost in three sets (6-25, 3-25, 11-25).

Celeste Valencia led the Tartars in aces with a total of five. Freshman Stevee Sprowl, had some spectacular spikes in the game amounting for a team high eight kills for the game.

The team played with a lot of effort and high energy throughout the match as they continue to impress with their positivity and love for the game.

The Tartars next game will be on the road on Friday, October 15th at 6:00 p.m. against conference opponent Mt. San Antonio College.
