The MSJC women's basketball team had a rough second quarter on Thursday night as they fell behind #3 seeded Moorpark on the road and could never quite recover as they lost in the So Cal Regional Semi-Finals to the Raiders 72-59.

The Eagles trailed by four after the first quarter 17-13, but it was the second quarter where Moorpark out scored MSJC 27-15 to sieze control of the game.  Despite out scoring the Raiders in the second half, MSJC never could quite get all the way back into the game.

Sandee Heiermann led the MSJC offense on the night with 15 points, she also grabbed 6 rebounds in the loss.  Alaysia Kidwell added 12 points and 7 rebounds, while Deja Blue had 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals.

The Eagles were playing in the post-season for the 15th straight season and earlier in the year captured their fourth straight conference title.

MSJC finished the season with a 22-6 overall record.
