Falcons' Offense Explodes
Folsom, CA - The Falcons' soar with impressive offensive productions as they defeat the visiting Gavilan College, Rams 18-0.
The Falcons' first run came in the bottom of the second inning, off an RBI single from sophomore, second baseman, Oscar Nevarez. That opened the flood gates as the Falcons proceeded to score 17 more runs in the game.
Along with an impressive offensive output, the Falcons also displayed a strong pitching performance, giving up only 1 run on three hits for the game. Sophomore righthander, Andrew Neil, earned his first win of the season by pitching five (5) scoreless innings in which he only allowed two (2) hits while striking out seven (7) batters.
