GCC Baseball wins two of three games this week, are 4-3 after beating Fullerton 8-4 Feb. 10
 
The GCC Baseball team won its second straight game, 8-4 at home Friday, Feb. 10 at Stengel Field to improve its record to 4-3 this season. A solo home run by Adrian Gonzalez in the 10th inning at Golden West and a run scoring double by Tommy Italia rallied for the 5-3-win Thursday after falling to the Rustlers 6-3 Wednesday.
 
In the win over Fullerton Friday, Glendale came to life at the plate with 13 hits with Gabe Juarez, Alec Garcia, Ricky Perez and Andrew Cisneros each having two hits with Garcia and Juarez driving in three runs each with Jaurez clearing the bases with a 3-run double in the sixth inning to give the Vaqs the decisive 8-4 advantage. Starter Julian Jaramillo struck out five and allowed two earned runs in his five innings of work and winning pitcher Owen Wendell-Braly struck out three and allowed two runs in two innings and Geo Hernandez got the save with a scoreless eighth and ninth innings.
 
Glendale has three games next week, Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Mt. San Antonio College at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 17 at Fullerton College at 1 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 18 at home vs Ventura College at 1 p.m.
